Cancellation & Substitution Policy

For any cancellation or substitution of your registration, the Professional Congress Organiser (CONVIN S.A) must be notified in writing by e-mail at registrations-mdm2026@convin.gr.

Registration cancellations or substitutions are subject to the following conditions:

Registration Cancellation
  • MDM offers the possibility to cancel any registration within 5 days from its payment without any cancellation fees.
  • Until 31 May 2026 (23:59 WEST): registration fee will be refunded and an administrative fee of € 50 will be deducted from the amount.
  • From 1 June 2026 onwards: No refund granted.
Substitutions/Name changes
  • Until 31 May 2026: At no extra cost.
  • From 1 until 10 June 2026: With an administrative fee of € 100.
  • Non-shows at the Conference will be charged a full fee.

All refunds will be processed within two (2) months following the conclusion of the conference. Any related bank charges will be borne by the Participant.
At least one author of the paper must be registered in order to upload and register the camera-ready paper. If complete payment is not received by the author registration deadline, the paper will be pulled from the publication in MDM 2026.


Important Author Information

At least one author per paper must be registered as an AUTHOR at the full Member / Non-Member registration rate, regardless of whether or not they are students.

The author registration deadline is May 17th, 2026.

Each Author Registration is valid for ONE paper.

Each paper to be included in the MDM 2026 proceedings (including research, industry, demo, poster, workshop, and PhD forum papers) must have at least one Conference Registration by its authors.

Every paper needs one author to register.

Authors can locate their Paper ID# in the submission site.

VISA INFORMATION

Greece is a member-state of the European Union and has signed the Schengen Treaty. While traveling within the European Union, EU citizens only need their identity card. However, a passport is necessary for a number of other transactions, such as currency exchange, purchases, etc.

Visas are not required by European citizens from countries that are part of the Schengen Area. Greece, as a member of the Schengen Treaty, has abolished controls on common internal lands, at air and sea borders, and allows Member-State citizens to travel around without a Visa for a short stay period of up to three (3) months. However, keep in mind that airlines and other carriers require a valid passport and/or identity card.

Citizens coming from countries that have not yet joined the Schengen Area may require a Visa to enter Greece. EU visitors from these countries can acquire further information from the Hellenic Embassies or Consulates in their countries, or their travel agencies. Before visiting Greece, please consult the detailed information on the Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs website or official guidance and to determine whether a visa is required.

It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a Visa, if required. Individuals requiring an official Letter of Invitation or need any information regarding Visa procedures, can contact the Organizing Secretariat. The Letter of Invitation does not financially obligate the Conference Organizers in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the Congress are the sole responsibility of the attendee.

The Letter of Invitation will be sent only upon completion of registration and payment.

Note: If you require a visa for your stay in Greece, it is advisable to have appropriate insurance coverage for emergency medical or other unforeseen needs.
